Liturgy Man: Two Questions Concerning the Apostle's Creed

In this episode of Liturgy Man, Taylor Burton Edwards addresses questions concerning the two translations of the Apostle's Creed found in the United Methodist Hymnal.

  1. Why do we use the words "holy catholic church" in the Apostle's Creed?
  2. Why does the traditional translation say "He was crucified, dead, and buried," while the ecumenical translation says, "He was crucified, died, and was buried"? Is this difference a typo?
